Meridian was founded in 1986 as a four-man drainage crew. Thirty-eight years on, we operate a 92-strong owned plant fleet from a 6-acre headquarters in Birmingham — without a single hired-in machine on any active site.
That ownership matters. It means when a tier-1 main contractor signs us to a programme, we show up — every shift, every pour, regardless of market conditions. We are pre-qualified on every major UK contractor framework and audited annually against eight industry standards.
